Wir brennen für Stahl – seit über 50 Jahren
Seit mehr als 50 Jahren wird in Kehl Stahl produziert – 1955 entschied sich der Unternehmer Willy Korf auf einem verkehrstechnisch günstig gelegenen Standort im Kehler Rheinhafen seine „Süddeutsche Drahtverarbeitungs-GmbH“ zu gründen. Nach umfassenden weiteren Investitionen erhielt das Unternehmen 1968 seinen Namen: Badische Stahlwerke AG, kurz BSW. Und seit dieser Zeit steht der Name BSW für hochwertige Qualität und technische Innovationen.

Keeping the flame going for steel –
for over 50 years
Steel has been produced in Kehl for over 50 years – in 1955, the entrepreneur Willy Korf decided to set up his “Süddeutsche Drahtververarbeitung GmbH” at a site in the Rhine harbour of Kehl, which is conveniently located in terms of transport connections. After extensive further investments, the company got its name in 1968: Badische Stahlwerke AG, BSW for short. And since then, the name BSW has stood for high quality and technical innovations.

Das Herz des Stahlwerks schlägt nicht nur ruhig und gemächlich – sondern energiegeladen, vor Kraft strotzend und laut. Bei 1.700 Grad Hitze verwandeln sich 100 Tonnen Schrott minutenschnell in den Stahl, der durch die Adern des Werks fließt.
